Have you ever said out loud;
“I’m stressed out”
“I’m super busy”
“I’m not sure how I’m going to get through this week!”
“It’s going to be crazy for the next month!”
All of these statements send your brain in to its fear system or it’s sympathetic nervous system which in turn, increases your heart rate, increases blood flow to your muscles, and your blood pressure.
Scary, real life, physical responses to your words. We have such amazing brains!!
I did an Instagram Live interview last year with the wonderful Ewa of @socialbeautify.
We had a very energetic conversation (the pics prove it!) and I answered her question: How do I manage my constant stress?
Listen to the full discussion above, 6:01min, a micro-audio podcast!
Your coaching challenge this week is:
Ask yourself when thinking about an area of stress for you: What is within my control? You might not come up with the answer straight away, but see what your brain comes up with when you least expect it (what does your brain come up with in the shower or when you are about to nod off to sleep!?)
As always, if no one else tells you today. I am so grateful to you. Thank you for letting me a part of your day, and thank you for being a part of my world.
