I kind of went through a crisis of confidence when I was given my directorship and had imposter syndrome at its highest level.
I didn’t have very clear boundaries.
Feeling a little bit worthless, and not really. But knowing deep down, I wasn’t, you know, which is why I kind of got in touch and just realised that I needed a little bit of help,
The pandemic has been a lot, lot. So if I was to describe how I was feeling in one word, I would say, absolutely overwhelmed.
I had a massive crisis of confidence, I was just lost
The issues, or challenges, or opportunities were all quite similar in terms of, you know, what people were going through, it almost didn’t matter what industry and level people were at, it was a lot, a lot of there’s a lot of overlap. So yeah, it was, it was very positive. And and people were very open to learning and growing,
Having a small group was great, because everyone came from very different backgrounds, but also different perspectives, and came with different challenges, whereby, you know, there was continuous learning through each other.
I got a huge amount of mentorship almost out of that. People sharing stories, hearing other people’s challenges, and also their successes and celebrations were incredibly helpful. And I think it really does help to hear outside of your own world, what other people are, you know, a battling,
